Warm rye bread topped with savory Jimmy Dean® Pork Sausage, horseradish and a blend of cheeses makes for delectable open-faced bites.


  • 1 package Regular Premium Pork Sausage

  • 1 cup mayonnaise

  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Parmesan cheese

  • 2 green onions, sliced

  • 1 tablespoon prepared horseradish

  • 1 garlic clove, minced

  • 48 slices cocktail rye bread


  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine all ingredients except bread in large bowl.

  2. Place bread slices in single layer on baking sheets. Top each with about 1 tablespoon sausage.

  3. Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned.
