Quick and Easy Skillet Omelets

This easy skillet omelet recipe is loaded with peppers, potatoes and sausage thanks to Jimmy Dean® Sausage Skillets. Just add eggs, milk cheese and fold. No French training required. 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Jimmy Dean® Sausage Skillets

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tablespoon milk

  • 3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Spray small nonstick skillet with cooking spray. Heat over medium heat.

  2. Add skillet mixture; cook and stir for 7-8 minutes until potatoes are lightly browned.

  3. Beat eggs and milk in small bowl with wire whisk until well blended.

  4. Add egg mixture to skillet and cook 4-5 minutes or just until eggs are set, occasionally lifting edge of omelet with spatula to allow uncooked portion to flow underneath.

  5. Sprinkle cheese over half the omelet; fold in half. Cook 2 minutes longer.
