Microwave Instructions:<BR>

  1. Remove plastic wrapper. Insert Hash Brown into crisping sleeve and place on microwave-safe plate open side up.
  2. Microwave on HIGH 2 minutes or until thoroughly cooked. Let stand 2-3 minutes.*

Internal product temperature must reach 165 degrees F as measured in several locations using an instant-read thermometer. For easy eating, fold or tear back side of crisping sleeve and enjoy!<BR>

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good Concept, bad execution I like the concept, the hashbrown was a good idea but to compensate for the oiliness of the hashbrown you really need to use leaner and less greasy filling. Right now it tastes like grease stuffed with grease. Leaner sausage/bacon (that does not ooze out fat when microwaved) will work well with fried exterior like a hashbrown. Don't get me wrong, the regular breakfast sausage is fine as a stand alone product, it needs to be fatty to taste good. Just don't put too much fat inside more fat. Until you fix the greasiness of the filling, it just doesn't work as a whole.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointed Breakfast I usually love JD's Breakfasts! The bowls are wonderful! The Biscuit sausage, and cheese sandwich is heaven! I thought this product would carry out the promise of hash browns and a breakfast bowl. I was disappointed to find that the filling's consistency is mushy. The hash brown sleeve was great, but I was expecting a more solid filling. I wanted to see a meat lover's breakfast bowl wrapped in a loving hash brown blanket. Sorry. I still love JD's foods - just not the stuffed hash browns. Thanks for trying!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so good breakfast item This doesn't even deserve 1star, but it wouldn't let me go on if I didn't pick one.....Bought these for my husband. He tried one this morning and saw him throw most of it out. I asked what was wrong with it, he said it was entirely too greasy and there was nothing but mush in the middle. He said the picture shows chunks of meat, well there was not. For $5 for a box of 4 will never buy again. Would've added a picture but he threw it out the door

Rated 1 out of 5 by from IF YOU LIKE GOOEY, THIS IS IT Since I really love Jimmy Dean's Turkey Sausage Crumbles, I decided to check out this new Jimmy Dean's Stuffed Hash Browns - Meat Lovers frozen breakfast. Cooked it as directed but while the outside of the hash browns were indeed, crispy. The inside cheeses, ham, bacon and cheeses were really gooey. Added to that the potatoes inside were also gooey. Sausage, ham and bacon were really finely chopped which then cooked down to a mushy consistency. Was very disappointed with this product.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great concept, mediocre execution Well, first and foremost I have to say this is a great idea and it does work. The hash-brown shell is crunchy and I love it. The downfall is the horrible smell and taste of the cheddar cheese. It makes it hard to tolerate and I know if I took this to work my coworkers would not appreciate the smell. I think the cheddar should either be done away with and only use mozzarella, or use a better smelling and tasting cheddar. That is the only thing holding this product back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Almost made me hate Hash Browns! Purchased the Sausage & Bacon Stuffed Hash Browns at Sam's Club thinking of how good all the other JD products had been. I couldn't have been more disappointed in this product. JD has always been associated with premium quality and taste, but neither of these apply to this product. The taste of the filling is indescribably terrible. It's a horrid unsightly mush which has so much sodium (more than one-third RDA) that it is nearly inedible due to the salty taste. If I didn't live so far from Sam's I would have returned them right away. The hash brown coating tastes great so I microwave them for about a minute and then use a knife to scoop out the filling before continuing to cook them. This at least makes them edible. It could be a really great product if you put a truly premium product in as the filler. May I suggest using the JD sausage +Velveeta + Rotel Dip recipe. That stuff would taste good on a shingle. Fix the filling and I will buy again. Sadly, until then I'm a non-paticipant.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not up to Jimmy Dean quality. I have only used Jimmy Dean sausage since it came on the market years ago. Every other product we have tried has been the tops. However, we were very disappointed in the Stuffed Hashbrowns. My husband said to feed the rest to the birds. He rarely complains about any food. We could hardly taste the meat and cheese. It was like a mouth full of mush. The birds got the rest. The quality was not up to Jimmy Dean.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good flavor, but... These looked really good and I love hash browns so I tried these. The filling flavor was good but the hash brown part sucks! The were not crispy and tasted like they had been thawed and refrozen. I made these using the directions on the package and put them in the microwave. Not a good idea. I was afraid the hash brown part would be the downfall of these and they were. Sorry Jimmy but these were a miss.....
