  1. Slice sausage roll into ½-inch patties at indicated marks. (For easier slicing, place sausage in freezer for 10-15 minutes before slicing.)
  2. Place patties in a cold skillet. Cook over MEDIUM heat for 14-16 minutes, turning sausage frequently for even browning, or until center of sausage patty reaches 160°F and is no longer pink.

For food safety and quality purposes, this product must be cooked to a minimum internal temperature of 160°F prior to eating. Due to differences in cooking equipment, cook times may require adjustment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my "go to" protein (meat). Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Especially good with all that left over white rice from the Chinese restaurant. Brown and breakup the sausage and add chopped onions, celery, a whole jalapeño, chopped green or red peppers and a little olive oil. Season to taste and cook on low heat (covered) for ten minutes. Scramble with eggs for breakfast. Or: Stuff in a scooped out baked potato. Or use the "mix" to make stuffed peppers or zucchini boats. Or make stuffed cabbage with the mixture. I would add a spicy red sauce on top. And sprinkle with some Parmesan cheese at the end.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great sausage!! My family loves it!! Jimmy Dean Sage is our favorite sausage. I love it because of its high quality. It is easier to work with and cook than most other types of sausage I have tried. My family loves the flavor. The spices are just right-not too mild or too spicy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Letdown I thought I'd selected a spicy, savory sausage when I picked up the Sage version of Jimmy Dean's. Bland and disappointing after foregoing sausage for a long while at my doctor's insistence. Years ago Jimmy Dean had fewer versions, but really good and tasty selections. Maybe I should have contacted you for a rundown of what your current pork sausage contains. I'm really astonished at your extensive choices, yet a well seasoned sausage wasn't in the package.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I found a recipe here called Becky's Chili (I can't remember the exact name) but what I do remember was that it use both ground beef and one of Jimmy Dean's premium sausages. I've been using a very similar recipe for years to make chili. Adding the sausage gives the chili a kick with added flavor. I always use the premium sausage with sage. It's by far the best sausage made. Keep up the good work.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My house only uses Jimmy Dean Sausage We enjoy breakfast for dinner as much as breakfast. And I often use sausage for casseroles. The only sausage allowed on my table is Jimmy Dean. It is the best quality out there. We love sage the best.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works well with any meal i like this kind of the sausage that you produce (just saw that you have a chorizo one and i am going to go looking for that kind) i use this kind when i am making pizza, breakfast casserole, breakfast (i love to put some in my pancakes as i make them), lasagna and pretty much anything i want to put sausage into. i like the extra dash of sage, it just adds a bit to it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Jimmy Dean Sausage I love the sage sausage, however Jimmy Dean Sausage is hard to find. Walmart has about three flavors. Sage sometimes, haven't seen some of the ones mentioned here. I used to be able to buy Jimmy Dean Sausage almost anyplace in our area. Not available anywhere anymore except Walmart. That's sad, I love, love Jimmy Dean Sausage!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this sausage! I LOVE JD's sage sausage. It hands down beats every other brand I've tried. It is perfectly seasoned, doesn't cook away to nothing and tastes delicious. My only issue is it is hard to find in the grocery stores in my area (Spartanburg SC) Please get Sage sausage into more stores in my area!!!!
